Abstract

The X-ray binary GX301-2 was observed extensively by the Tenma satellite. GX301-2 exhibits strong fluorescent iron line emission and a strong K-edge absorption feature. Time variations in the X-ray luminosity, absorption column density, and the iron emission line are used to study the properties of the circumstellar matter in this system.
