Green Organic Reactions

Abstract

Microwave (MW)-assisted organic reaction is an emerging technique in synthetic organic chemistry for a greener and sustainable development. A wide range of MW assisted organic reactions have been studied during the past few years, and among these, the most studied one is the coupling reactions. Here, in this chapter, we focus on the advances in the microwave-assisted amination reactions. For better understanding, clarity, and brevity, we have categorized the review as (i) metal-catalyzed amination reactions, (ii) metal-free amination reactions, and (iii) miscellaneous reactions.
