Abstract

The construction of green ecological barrier is of great significance to the restoration of degraded grassland and the protection of grassland resources. The report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that we should strengthen the protection of ecosystems, implement major projects for the protection and restoration of important ecosystems, promote the comprehensive management of desertification, rocky desertification, and soil erosion, and strengthen the protection and restoration of wetlands. Degraded grassland restoration technology is huge and complex system engineering, and strong theoretical and technical guidance is needed in grassland science, ecology, restoration ecology, soil science, and other disciplines. At present, the techniques of black soil slope restoration, grassland desertification control, grazing prohibition, grazing rotation, and planting artificial grassland have been widely developed. Meanwhile, strengthening the construction of laws and regulations, clarifying the property right of grassland, and eliminating institutional overuse of grassland institutional, perfecting compensation mechanism for grassland ecological construction, adjustment of ecological restoration project based on the monitoring results of remote sensing. Ultimately, a comprehensive system of grassland industrialization and livestock products according to local conditions needs to be established.
