With the turbulent price competition, manufacturing market is constantly changing and become highly competitive in China. Many traditional manufacturers in western economies have concentrate on delivering high-value services combined with their products to fulfil their customers’ needs (Baines et al. in Int J Oper Prod Manag 29:494–519, 2009).
