Abstract
In Chap. 4, inspired by the “brick-and-mortar” layered structure of nacre, a multifunctional bioinspired nanocomposites of few-layer hydroxyl functionalized black phosphorus with nanofibrillar cellulose were fabricated via self-assembly procedure. The thermal and fire resistance, and mechanical performance of bioinspired composites, as well as each mechanism are discussed.
