Abstract
Tip: For laparoscopic living liver donation, we must dissect hilum first to expose, free, and tape the left hepatic artery and the left portal vein. Small branches going to the caudate lobe were cut and secured by Hem-o-lock clips to increase the length of the left portal vein. When we reached the hilar plate, the left biliary duct cut with and the proximal end closed by a running suture (PDS 5/0).
