Abstract
This chapter deals with Antiseptic policy to prevent surgical site infection and abdominal sepsis based on our experience and evidence in tertiary care centre in India. we started caring from prehabilitation 4 weeks prior to surgery post admission, intra operative and post operative care. Infection rate of our surgical patients is less than 5%. Advice, 4 weeks prior to surgery
