Abstract

This chapter first gives an introduction of the current researches of event detection, and then three typical event detection algorithms including Cumulative Sum (CUSUM) based transient event detection algorithm, the generalized likelihood ratio, and the Sequential Probability Ratio Test (SPRT) are investigated.
