Abstract

This paper delivers a brief description of Clean Development Mechanism and Green Economy and how CDM and Green Economy have its impact on sustainable development. We analyze here types of CDM Projects, steps for implementing a CDM project, the nature of CDM Projects in India which contributes India’s developmental activities. It also includes various set of actions to achieve Green Economy in India. The objective of this paper is to assess the relationship between CDM Projects and Green Economy and its contribution to sustainable development. Green Economy is a development strategy to define economic and sustainable development. India occupies 2nd place in adopting CDM Projects.
