Abstract
SMS messaging over mobile networks can be used for machine to machine communication to exchange status and control data. Use simple algorithms and protocols for autonomous, secure, and reliable operations on micro machines with limited computing resources. These machines need little power and can run on solar panels, providing a cheap collaborative infrastructure.
