Abstract

Regular monitoring of pipelines becomes more significant because the traditional inspection methods used before are just a statistical approach of defects finding inside of pipes. Intensive production development and production growth stimulate new materials and technologies. It is also necessary to make pipelines control process faster and cheaper with the same quality. In this paper, electromagnetic-acoustic transducer based on SH-waves for searching pipelines defects is described.
