Abstract

A solar energy based Smart irrigation system has been proposed. The agricultural land is monitored with the help of three sensors and irrigation is automated with the help of Microcontroller. The status of the irrigation of the particular land is intimated to the users Mobile using GSM Technique. By using this irrigation system, resources like water and Electricity can be conservatively used with increase in irrigation efficiency, and reduction in labour cost.
