Abstract

This chapter intends to highlight the continuity of Vaiśeṣika school of Indian philosophy in its textual aspect through the Sanskrit commentaries written on its original source text, i.e. Vaiśeṣikasūtras in the present era. Five such recent Sanskrit commentaries on Vaiśeṣikasūtras have come to light; details and salient features of these five are being presented herein.
