Abstract
This chapter summarizes several parametric formulae for structural stress concentrations due to misalignment in axially loaded structures. Only 2D cases in plates and pipes are treated, allowing closed-form solutions. Regarding stress concentrations caused by structural configurations, references from different application fields are listed.
