Abstract
My first real emersion in a learning organisation came well before I was able to name it. Having fled the public school system soon after the completion of my teacher training, I only returned to the classroom when I began my work with adult learners at a local processing plant. As I referenced earlier, this experience was deeply fortifying because it helped me to reconceptualise learning and teaching.
