Abstract
Valuable thought and social processes occur in the creative arts, which can enrich any curriculum (McIntosh & Warren, 2013). We1 have for almost ten years been working on trying to develop and understand arts-based educational processes. It is a story of trial and error, in which we have explored the two roles: the participant as artist, and the participant as researcher.
