Abstract

Zionism is the doctrine that changed everything. I begin this historic review of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict with Zionism, not to reaffirm the practice of starting every account of the conflict from the Israeli point of view, nor with the usual ritual obeisance to Jewish victimhood before issues of Palestinian rights can be addressed.
