Abstract
The primary objective of this chapter is to discuss the findings of the South African section of a Ten-Country study conducted by the Consortium for Cross Cultural Research in Education (CCCRE) which examines the extent to which secondary school teachers and principals are prepared to take responsibility for bringing about educational change.
