Abstract
I stand in front of the group of new early childhood education students. I am filled with excitement, apprehension, and many questions: What will the year hold for us? What kinds of teaching and learning will happen? What will the relationships be like? What will my role look like with this group? How will we ever discuss all that can be reflected on and learned about in the field of early childhood education? These thoughts and more race through my head.
