Abstract

As more Canadian universities, colleges and schools invite and recruit international students onto their campuses and programs, and offer more ‘study abroad’ opportunities for their own students, notions of global citizenship, intercultural and international competencies circulate and settle to legitimate and confirm that international education is here to stay. At home, the numbers of international students arriving in Canada are increasing, and international activities and programs are on the rise.
