Abstract

Dr Andrew Smith grew up in East Sussex and has lived in Birmingham since 1988. He has worked for the Christian charity Scripture Union since 1994. In the year 2000 he pioneered the Faith and Young People programme which ran Christian- Muslim dialogue for teenagers. He is currently the Director of Youth Encounter at Scripture Union which seeks to further this work.
