Abstract
Liquid fuel is a collective noun for several products obtained from crude oil, which latter as it occurs in the natural state may be considered to belong, roughly speaking, to one of three classes according to the base of the oil, viz.:
-
1)
Paraffin Base,
-
2)
Asphaltic Base, or
-
3)
Naphthenic Base,
although in fact the constituents of every crude oil belong more or less to all of these three classes.
