Abstract
S. N. Rumyantsev and J. Grzeszczuk have examined patients who, when in the presence of certain persons (inductors), develop various symptoms, among them nausea, psychic disturbances, hallucinations, loss of vision, lumps in the throat, numbness of hands and feet and fear of death.5,6 Patients are afraid of such encounters and avoid them. In cases where an individual is married to such an inductor, the spouses frequently quarrel or fight with each other without obvious reason. The marriage often ends in divorce, but sometimes in murder.
