Abstract
In 1921, Wallace Donham, Dean of the Harvard Business School advised his teachers to use student discussion based on case studies in addition to lectures (Erskine & Leenders, 1989, p. 13). This experiment proved to be one of the most successful in the field of teaching methods and today, teaching with cases is the most popular teaching method in business schools around the world.
