Abstract
The exchange of information in the network of experts facilitated the production of the “country profiles”, which are meant to provide:
-
a quick introduction to the organisation and administration of the health care systems of the participating countries;
-
an exploration of the boundaries of the health care systems;
-
a preliminary determination of place and functions of health care;
-
an overview of the main policy developments;
-
a contribution to transparency, a necessary condition for international comparison.
