Abstract
We now turn to a description of the procedure applied in this research project, its scope, the way of recording its data and discussion thereof. Three parts of the study can be discerned: designing the data, studying their interrelations and inferring a conceptualization of psychodynamics of mental health and personal adjustment, and methodological and practical conclusions. The two methods of research used, a depth interview and a written questionnaire, respectively, will be discussed on their merits and complementary usefulness. As for the scope of this study, the reasons which led to the choice of students of Intensive Hebrew Course for Immigrants, Ulpan “Etzion”, Jerusalem, are briefly related. Finally the arrangement of the report is explained in a few words.
