Solid State Batteries

Part of the book series: NATO ASI Series ((NSSE,volume 101))

Abstract

There la clearly a powerful attraction drawing a gathering of people from many lands to this NATO Advanced Study Institute on Solid–State Batteries. It is my task to try to assess the future prospects of all-solid-state batteries in the market place. I oust adult to being partisan (1, 2), but I will endeavour to make this assessment as objectively as possible.
