Abstract

The organization of the map content implies an orderly arrangement of the various types of vegetation and their characteristics. This arrangement is presented in the legend of the map. A legend portrays the content of the vegetation map, which reveals the location, extent and geographical distribution of the individual types of vegetation horizontally and often also vertically.
