Abstract
The Authors found a great prevalence of hypertriglyceridemia in the general population. In coronary disease the most important risk factors are, smoking, hypertension, obesity, hypercholesterolemia, hypertriglyceridemia and hypoHDLemia. In newborns they described 10 cases of hypertriglyceridemia in 188 newborns. In a study did in 600 subjects of a health center they found a great prevalence of increased Lp(a).
