Abstract
Of all forms relating to the current traditional nature management and protection, spring hunting waterfowl for its poor regulation and control, remains an important factor limiting the number of many commercial water and wetland bird species. It is especially characteristic of the Russian North for its tendency to the continuous decrease in the number of duck and geese species that formerly have been abundant and successful.
