Abstract

It is not often possible, in the publicly available literature on RTM, to discern details of the construction, what if any preforming techniques are used, reasons for the selection of particular mould design details etc. This is doubtless done for sound commercial reasons, but can lead to limitations in the utility of the information. For this reason a wholly imaginary component will be considered here, which incorporates some of the features that have been reported in the literature.
