Abstract
Teleradiology, in conjunction with Picture Archiving and Communications Systems (PACS), has brought about dramatic changes and opportunities in the way in which radiology can be provided and practised, with networking links integrating a wide range of both national and international centers. This chapter addresses these issues from the point of view of the radiology department, the radiologist, the individual patient, the radiology manager and the radiology and medical community as a whole.
