Abstract

Over the last 5 years, the editors of this book together with a project leader, a large multi-disciplinary team of researchers and industrial engineers, and support staff were involved in an applied research project called Condor. The Condor project investigated how to adapt a highly specialised, complex system to meet new market requirements.
