Abstract

Zhang Qixian was the prime minister when Emperor Zhenzong was on the throne. At that time a dispute over the division of valuables arose among certain relatives of the royal family. They brought lawsuits against each other and even went to the palace to lay their grievances before the emperor. The case dragged on for more than ten days without reaching a satisfactory solution.
