Abstract
The disease has been an enigma in its symptoms, etiology, epidemiology and host-parasite interaction and thus it is no wonder that all kinds of methods have been tested to control the disease from time to time. More significant ones are discussed in this chapter under cultural management that include sanitation, water stress management, major and micronutrient management, chemical management including hormonal, acaricidal and fungicidal, antimalformins, botanicals and biological management. These then were integrated to develop IPM and system management approach.
