Samenvatting
Geleidelijk ontstond pijn aan de mediale zijde van de rechterelleboog bij een rechtshandige tennisser. Hoewel men geneigd is te denken aan een tenniselleboog, is hier sprake van een golferselleboog. De pijn bevindt zich immers aan de mediale zijde. De bevindingen bij het functieonderzoek wijzen ook duidelijk op een golferselleboog. Toch moet men differentiaaldiagnostisch ook rekening houden met andere aandoeningen die pijn veroorzaken aan de mediale zijde van de elleboog. Dit hoofdstuk beschrijft de symptomatologie, de oorzaken, de differentiaaldiagnostiek en de behandeling die toegepast kan worden bij de golferselleboog ofwel de mediale elleboogtendinose.
