Meneer Oud is 90 jaar en in goeden doen voor zijn leeftijd. U ziet hem zo nu en dan, meestal vanwege controle van een verhoogde bloeddruk bij een matige aortaklepstenose, hij klaagt dan steevast over zijn rechterheup. Ditmaal is zijn dochter meegekomen, zij bezoekt hem om de dag en maakt zich zorgen over zijn humeur.
