Abstract
Teratomas constitute half of all pediatric ovarian neoplasms, and 1 % of these are malignant immature teratomas. In patients in whom malignant teratoma is suspected, 18F-FDG–PET/CT may help in the accurate diagnosis and in tumor staging, allowing a more aggressive approach to therapy.
