Riassunto
La senologia è il tipico settore dell’imaging al quale gli aspetti caratterizzanti l’attuale comunicazione si adattano pressoché completamente. Riguarda, infatti, un limitato gruppo di donne sintomatiche, che sono quindi “pazienti” a tutti gli effetti, e un assai più numeroso gruppo di donne asintomatiche che, aderendo ai programmi di prevenzione mediante esami clinico-strumentali completi o mediante screening mammografico (Fig. 11.1), possono essere definite “utenti” [1].
