Riassunto

Nel precedente testo La relazione genitore-bambino (Cena, Imbasciati, Baldoni, 2010; capitolo 3) abbiamo cercato di esplorare i due ambiti teorici della psicoanalisi e della teoria dell’attaccamento attraverso un excursus che ci permettesse di focalizzarci sui cambiamenti che in questi ultimi decenni si stanno verificando in entrambi i versanti. Per la ricerca di un’integrazione, i principi teorici e i testi paradigmatici a cui facciamo riferimento sono quelli di Ammaniti e Stern (1992) e di Fonagy,“Psicoanalisi e Teoria dell’Attaccamento” (2001) e “Attaccamento e funzione riflessiva” (Fonagy, Target, 2001), che riteniamo fondamentali per identificare i punti di contatto tra le due cornici di riferimento, attraverso un’integrazione affine al nostro approccio teorico e clinico. La psicoanalisi e la teoria dell’attaccamento si stanno muovendo verso lo stesso obiettivo: la comprensione evolutiva della personalità e del disturbo psicopatologico. Fonagy rileva come la teoria dell’attaccamento consideri la centralità delle relazioni nei disordini mentali e consenta agli psicoanalisti di partecipare al dibattito tra salute pubblica e basi scientifiche della pratica clinica privata.
