Riassunto
L’addome può essere grossolanamente paragonato a una scatola semirigida, costituita da parti inestensibili (colonna e bacino), parti estensibili (parete anteriore e perineo) e parti mobili (diaframma). Il contenuto è costituito dagli organi intra e retroperitoneali. L’equilibrio tra contenente e contenuto determina la pressione intraddominale (IAP) [1].
