La Risonanza Magnetica Fetale (RMF) consente l’importante diagnosi di anomalie dello sviluppo corticale in utero in fase molto precoce, anche prima della 24a settimana di gestazione. Tale possibilità diagnostica appare molto più ardua e complessa con l’uso dell’ecografia, anche se recenti progressi basati, ad esempio, sulla tecnica tridimensionale sembrano fornire maggiori opportunità in tal senso.
