L’ecografia interventistica è frequentemente utilizzata per la diagnosi di patologie epatiche [1–9] e la sua diffusione, in molti casi, ne ha modificato in maniera significativa la strategia diagnostica [10–19]. L’abbondante Letteratura in materia e la standardizzazione delle procedure, iniziata oltre cinquant’anni fa, testimoniano il datato ed esteso interesse nei confronti di queste procedure ormai consolidate [20–21].
