Abstract

The novel thermostable organo-phosphors composed of coordination polymers with phosphine oxides, 1,4-bis(diphenylphosphoryl)benzene (dpb), 4,4′-bis(diphenylphosphoryl)biphenyl (dpbp), 4,4′-bis(diphenylphosphoryl)bithiophe- ne) (dpbt), 3,6-bis(diphenylphosphoryl)-9-phenylcarbazole (dppcz), and low-vibrational frequency hexafluoroacetylacetonato (hfa) ligands are reported. Tight-binding structures with weak intermolecular interactions of the coordination polymer induce both high thermostability (decomposition point >300 °C) and emission quantum yield (Φ Ln = 83 %). The characteristic structures, thermogravimetric analyses and remarkable photophysical properties are presented for the first time.
