Abstract
Open-door laminoplasty has been established as a safe and effective surgical method for decompression of the cervical spinal cord [1-3]. However, it has potential risks of several complications, some of which are specific to this method. In this chapter, the possible causes, prevention, and management of complications related to open-door laminoplasty are described.
