Abstract
Some proposals on reporting systems regarding tumor size, pre-and postoperative hearing results, tinnitus, and equilibrium disorder have been suggested.
-
1.
Tumor size: Six grades including intracanalicular and five 10-mm sections together with tumor characteristics (solid or cystic) and the absence or the presence of fundus invasion have been proposed.
-
2.
Hearing: We recommended that pure tone hearing level and the speech discrimination score should be reported separately because considerable discrepancies are often seen between them.
-
3.
Tinnitus: Loudness of pre- and postoperative tinnitus and annoyance caused by tinnitus and evaluation of each change should be assessed independently and separately.
-
4.
Vertigo and disequilibrium: Grading of pre- and postoperative vertigo and disequilibrium, and evaluation of change in vertigo and disequilibrium were proposed.
