Da und soweit auch in der Bundesrepublik ein spezieller Bedarf besteht, eine in Ansätzen bereits begonnene Modernisierung des Managements von Staat und Verwaltung möglichst weiterhin erfolgreich (nachhaltig) voranzutreiben, drängt sich hier auch die Frage auf, ob oder inwieweit sich gerade in dieser Hinsicht von den gewissermaßen bereits vorauseilenden bzw. fortgeschrittenen Protagonisten einer Modernisierung des Managements von Staat und Verwaltung (von den sog. NPM-Core-User-Countries) lernen lässt.
