Zusammenfassung
Innerhalb der betriebswirtschaftlichen Strategieforschung nimmt die Kognitionsforschung einen immer bedeutender werdenden Teil ein. Ausgangspunkt hierbei bildet die Auffassung, dass Strategien zunächst „in den Köpfen“ von Managern entstehen. Um zu verstehen, aus welchen Gründen bestimmte Strategien entwickelt werden, erscheint es somit nur konsequent, an den kognitiven Prozessen und Strukturen von Aktoren in Unternehmen anzusetzen. Das vorliegende Papier soll zunächst die wesentlichen Grundlagen der kognitiven Strategieforschung skizzieren. Besondere Relevanz für die Strategiebildung haben nicht nur individuelle Kognitionen, sondern vornehmlich auch Gruppenkognitionen. Daher wird insbesondere auf die Frage eingegangen, ob und wie bestimmte Kernaktoren in Unternehmen ihre Kognitionen angleichen und mit welchen Forschungsmethoden diese untersucht werden. Zur Beantwortung dieser Frage wird speziell auf die Methodik der GruppenKausalitätskarten eingegangen, welche eine Art graphische Repräsentation der Gruppensicht über ein bestimmtes Thema bildet.
