Abstract
In bibliometric terms, the research on innovation management has grown tremendously over the past decades, particularly in the 2000s. When entering the search term “innovation management” in the ISI Web of Knowledge database, we receive 615 hits in the 1970s, 28 in 1980s, 76 in 1990s and 727 in the 2000s. This underlines the increasing importance of that research domain.
