Zusammenfassung

Zur Isolierung von Nucleinsäuren werden verschiedene Methoden eingesetzt. Die gewählte Methode ist abhängig von der Art der zu isolierenden Nucleinsäure und ihrem späteren Verwendungszweck. Nachfolgend werden zunächst allgemeine Verfahren dargestellt, bevor Protokolle zur Reinigung von chromosomaler DNA, Plasmid-DNA und Phagen-DNA beschrieben werden. In Abschn. 3.4 (für Plasmid-DNA Abschn. 3.2.2.6) wird die Analyse der isolierten DNA hinsichtlich Ausbeute, Reinheit und Größe erläutert.
